1. What we collect and why
When you order: your name, e-mail, phone number, delivery and billing address, and what you ordered. We use this to fulfil your order: payment, delivery, order updates, returns. Legal basis: the contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
If you create an account: your e-mail and password, and the order history and addresses the account keeps in one place. Keep your password to yourself, and write to us at once if you think someone else has it. Legal basis: the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
For bookkeeping: invoice and payment records. Danish law requires us to keep these. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c), bogføringsloven).
When you write to us: your correspondence and order references, to handle your question. Legal basis: the contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
If you sign up for e-mails (newsletter, back-in-stock notices): your e-mail and, where relevant, your purchase history. Only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link. Order and account e-mails (confirmations, delivery updates) are not marketing and arrive regardless. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
When you browse: your IP address, device and browser details, and how you move through the site. Shopify's platform collects this to keep the shop working and secure, including fraud prevention at checkout. Cookies and similar technologies only as described in our Cookie Policy: nothing non-essential runs without your consent. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure shop (Art. 6(1)(f)); consent for anything non-essential (Art. 6(1)(a)).
The details marked as required at checkout are needed to enter into and perform the contract with you. Without them we cannot process your order. Everything else you give us is optional.
We process no sensitive-category data and make no automated decisions with legal effect. The shop is not meant for children, and we knowingly collect no children's data. If your child has given us personal information, write to us and we delete it.
2. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept |
|---|---|
| Order and accounting records | 5 years from the end of the financial year (Danish bookkeeping law) |
| Customer-support correspondence | 3 years after the case closes |
| Marketing consent and e-mail data | Until you withdraw consent, or after 24 months of no engagement |
| Account profile | Until you ask us to delete it |
3. Who we share it with
Only what each needs to do its job, never for their own marketing:
- Shopify: runs our store platform (Canada/US; transfers covered by adequacy and standard contractual clauses per our records).
- Our payment provider: processes your payment; we never see your full card details.
- Our delivery carrier: receives your name and delivery address to deliver your parcel.
- Klaviyo: sends our e-mails, only if you've consented (US; EU transfer framework per our records).
- Microsoft: our internal e-mail and administration (EU Data Boundary).
- Our accountant and the tax authorities, where the law requires it.
Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, the transfer rests on an EU adequacy decision or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, per our records.
We never sell your personal data.
4. Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy in portable form, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to support@asgaardian.com (we answer within one month).
If you're not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Danish data protection authority, or to the data protection authority in the EU/EEA country where you live:
